God also showed me that sin does not bring shame to man, but honor.
Sin is the sharpest scourge with which a chosen soul can be chastised, and this scourge completely strikes down and breaks people, making them appear insignificant in their own eyes, so much so that they think they are worthy of nothing more than sinking into hell.
But when repentance seizes them through the touch of the Holy Spirit, it transforms the bitterness into hope for divine mercy, and then their wounds begin to heal and the soul awakens as it is turned back to the life of the Holy Church.
And even when the person is healed, their wounds are still visible before God, not as wounds, but as badges of honor.
And so it turns to the opposite: just as sins are punished here below with sorrow and penance, they shall be rewarded in heaven by the gracious love of our almighty Lord and God, who desires that none who come to Him suffer hardship in vain.
