Unity of mind and body is impossible unless you practice love’s absolute values, where you give yourself for the sake of others completely. Please discard self-centeredness. It is the root of fallen nature.
Individual perfection begins with unity of mind and body
Please consider your own life. I don’t think you can deny that your mind and body often fight each other. How much longer are you going to allow this fight to continue? Ten years? A hundred years? Or will it not end even when you die? All beings in the universe were designed to display a definite order. This means God did not create us to exist in the imperfect state in which we now find ourselves. Your task now is to empower your mind and subdue your body. The grace of God will be with you in this effort.
Anyone who follows the teachings of Rev. Moon can make their body submit and unite with their mind one hundred percent. When you have done so and your mind and body are united, you can become the eternal object partner of God, the partner of His love.
This is because adolescence was the period in which the Fall occurred, and also because adolescence signifies the beginning of the awakening of your mind, marking the second stage of your life
It (Peace) depends on whether one can become a harmonious being, with mind and body in harmony and unity and one’s original mind at the center. When a person comes to have the heart of God and True Parents, he or she can begin to live fully for the sake of others and consistently lead a life where true love is at the center, a life in which the person can achieve true peace.
Because of this conflict, the ideal of the true human potential has been hidden away in a dense fog and trapped behind a high fence. We must generate a wind of truth and love that is strong enough to sweep the fog away. We must tear down the mighty fence between our mind and body that stands so high as to pierce the sky. The course of overcoming this struggle is our destiny.

Originally, if human beings had not fallen, our mind and body, being centered on God’s love, would not contradict each other. Because of the Fall, however the mind and body came to stand in opposing positions. Therefore even if it were possible to somehow be transported to an ideal world, without each individual solving this mind-body problem and establishing a true standard of heart, living in such a world would not be ideal.
Because God is the subject partner of love, life and lineage, He sought true sons and daughters who would live eternally with a complete and unbreakable standard.
