That you must cleanse your inner nature

The teacher who is closest to you is your own, original mind. Your original mind is more valuable than your closest friend, yes, even more valuable than your father or mother. You should learn to listen to what your original mind tells you. This is the state you must achieve. The Buddhist expression would be that you must purify your inner nature. What Buddha meant by the words: "I am my own master in heaven as on earth" is, that you will find that God, the Lord, dwells within you when you look into your own heart. Nothing would then be impossible.
